Hello, I'm trying to connect a Hayes external modem to a Win 98se 100mhz via the LPT1 port. I know this is stone age, but it has to be cheap for the workplace and we had the modem on hand and this Compaq 5100 has none. Any thoughts or ideas would great. Thanks Jeff

Hello, after opening up a read-only spread sheet, making some changes and clicking on save-as, the folder it picks is a td_003.dir folder automatically. If I do save it in that folder I cannot access it again AFTER WORKING ON IT FOR 2 HOURS!! I can find the folder, but nothing in it. History...
