Hi,
I'm using Crystal 9, RAS 9 and .Net 2003.
I'd like to query the report object or DHTML viewer for the total page count before I load the page so I will know not to display the page navigation buttons if the report is only one page. Does anyone know what property this information is stored...
Are you creating a SQL Expression Field or using a SQL Command? SQL Expressions do not need Select or From or Where and I don't think they allow you to do summary operations.
What version are you using? Are you using the wizard to create the sub reports? How are you deploying? Usually Cross Tabs create "virtual pages" that spill over when the data doesn't fit. I know of some issues that have been reported about the RAS SDK truncating the Virtual Pages.

Thanks k, We don't have a DBA, it was an application developer wearing a different hat. He was concerned that the time it takes to return the data in its "incomplete" state is already close to if not exceeding our service level agreements and he doesn't want to bolt on anything else. There are...
I'm having a problem with a cross tab report. I am building it around school courses (rows), possible grades (columns) and the values in the columns as the summarized field. My problem is when a course doesn't have any data for a grade, the grade is not returned and made part of the cross tab...
connection method, database, UID, pwd are identical, the subs just point to different SPs. I thought perhaps I forgot to switch all the data sources over to the production server but I had.
Thanks Dave,
This is my first RAS project....
I'm going to try what you suggested.

Hi,
I have a container report with a subreport. If I deploy my report without the sub everything works fine, but when I add the sub, I get a logon failure (SQL SERVER 2000 OLEDB). I fixed the problem in a staged environment by using integrated security with my OLEDB connection but I can't use...
Hi,
Does anyone know how I can pass a multi select parameter into an Oracle Stored Procedure? As of now, I've only been able to pass in scalar values. I'd REALLY like to pass in an array. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Chris
