ISA 2004 as a web proxy?
«I currently have two cards one with an internal 10.4.*.* address and no default gateway set and another with a 10.4.*.* address...» I can´t imagine the architecture. Dou you have both cards on the same network? Regards- LUISKA

Proxy client still used in ISA?
No problem with Webproxy clients. The only thing that you must consider is the communication port betwen ISA and the client. With Proxy 2.0 default port is 80, with ISA Server is 8080, you must choose were to change. At the ISA side or at the Internet Explorer Connection (in every client).- LUISKA

AD schema changes are only necesary for ISA arrays. The ISA Server 2004 Enterprise Ed. is not yet released, that means you cannot install an array of ISA 2004 ;-) A stand alone ISA 2004 (domain member if you want to validate users account) runs perfectly without any AD special requierement. Proxy client still used in ISA?
Yes, with a new name (Firewall client). To avoid a new installation in the client machines I've tested the old Proxy.20 proxy client vs a Isa Server 2000 and it runs correctly. I think it is running with 2004 too, but I think it's better to install the new "firewalll client" sin ce it is improved.- LUISKA

ISA on a PPOE Network Possible???
I have several DLS PPPOE lines (from diferent providers) but ussing DSL-ROUTERS not MODEMS. You can buy a router (3Com Office Connect, Draytek or something similar) for less than € 200. Internet access only from dedicated pc's
You could solve the problem ussing "Client address sets". Configure the Internet PC with a fixed Ip address, include apropiate addresses in this "Client set" and create a new "Site and Content rule" to permit this "Client set" access the Internet.- LUISKA
