Thanks for the ideas. On a whim, I tried something. I went in the vendor's software, ran the report in preview, left it open. Then I switched to Crystal, ran my report using their stored procedure that was now unlocked. It works and it is a simple procedure I can teach the end user. Hope I...- wit1nesky

The software vendor publishes a report with the data saved within the Crystal Report method. I need to reformat the data and add some calculations and cannot change the original propitiatory report.
