I have a qsig pri intergrated with an Audiocoge gateway and I am trying to add 24 new trunks without adding another dch. I do not see the PRI interface prompt when I print my ADAN DCH so I just wanted to make sure before I took everything down to see if it shows up when I try to change it.
Ok, thats what I thought, the NTP's are a little confusing. It shows a nortel phone on the originating phone going through the cloud to another nortel switch(nortel to nortel), it does not really clarify if it uses the same features for calls originating from a non-nortel phone going through the...
This is a good doc to setup the Nortel/Cisco Integration using QSIG if you need it. Hopefully I linked it correctly.http://www.cisco.com/en/US/solutions/collateral/ns340/ns414/ns728/ns784/754648.pdf
I have a PRI using NI2 and I want to know what packages are needed to get the callers name to come through from the PSTN. Is it the same packages used for the Network name? Do i need to have our provider flip a switch? Thanks
Yes, however the Audio code seemed to be a peice of c&@%!!! It took me about a month to get two way speech. It was working and then it just stopped working after about 3 weeks. When I would call from the CSE1000 to the Audio code it woould work ok, but going the other way I could only get a one...
Hello all, I am trying to program an MP118 analog VoIP gateway using SIP trunks and I am having a little dificulty finding some documentation. We have a CSE1000M Rls 4.5 with two sig servers and two media cards for IP phones. I am new to the NRS and the docs tell me I need to go to IP peer...

Thank you all for your input, it is a great help. 911guru can you give me some detailed info on what the Nortel 911 solution for voip would be. Your analysis on the cisco seems to be right on. The way I understand it is there is a field on the switches that has some sort of designation that is...
We are already running 60 IP line phonesets converged on our traditional 4000+ port CS1000M Nortel IP/TDM solution. I agree about utilizing the existing equipment, it would be the easiest solution in my opinion. Possibly more cost effective. We just mergerd our telecom and network dept, and our...
I just got finished reading thread851-1343370 from the Cisco forum. We are debating the issue as well, however the main thing we are looking to deploy is SIP handsets. Our PBX is a CS1000M rls 4.5 that we are waiting to upgrade until a final decision is made. The above thread does not go into...
