I am all of a sudden having problems with my 3300ICP embedded voicemail connecting to my smtp server. I have a network configuration with 50 private networks all connecting through a cisco asa. The SMTP server is provided by my ISP and is outside of my network. It has been working fine for...
It appears to be working. I am not sure if it was extending out the call forward timer or if it was enabling enabled DPNSS/QSIG but my motto has always been "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Thanks again for everyone's input. I really appreciate everyone's expertise.
I am sure I could forward to the external number in speedcall, but the customer doesn't have access to this type of programming. I am doing two instances of Multicall so that if they are on a line they can see the flashing of another call coming in.
I have a pri, so I have 23. I am pretty confident that there is plenty of room with trunk capacity. That was a good suggestion, and I appreciate the help.
It looks like you are right. If two calls come in at the same time, one gets forwarded and the other goes to internal voice mail. If I wait just a few seconds between calls, they both get forwarded. In the COS options I have enabled the following items:
Call Forwarding - Accept
Call...
I have a small company that has five handsets with extensions 1060 to 1064. I programmed all of their did's to go to extension 2101 in system speed call and programmed two 2101 multicall instances for each handset. In the evenings I programmed a button to do a third party call forward and when...
Thanks, I think I had it set up improperly to begin with. I was trying to save a license and programmed the extension as a multicall instance on every phone in the business, so in a way it was a virtual extension and set the voicemail as message only and the forwarding was accomplished with the...
I have a client that is having problems with call forwarding being intermittent. Every once in a while a call won't be forwarded and will be rolled to voicemail. I can confirm that in the call forwarding profiles that the forward always command is set in the system. Anyone have an idea why 95%...
I have three Extreme Network Summit 48si switches and I was able to upgrade two of them because they were running an extremeware release newer than 6.2.2b56. I have one switch that is running 6.2.2b27. It is just barely too old to be upgraded without an intermediary update. Does anyone have...
I figured it out. It was a problem with the visual voicemail. Version 9.0 didn't have that, so I had to go into each extension and program in the voicemail hunt group number.
I probably should have mentioned that I am the end user, but am very technical. I didn't upgrade this system myself since I am not an "authorized mitel dealer", but I have been programming this system for four years. I am trying to get out of calling them back again because they didn't seem to...
I tried the swap back to 4.0 and it does the same thing, so I swapped it again to 4.1. In this system, it is programmed to go to voice mail with keying in #5000 or 1500, is there a way to hard code the voicemail button on these devices to just dial 1500 instead of the new voicemail program. If...
