Aloha EDC Declined transactions; Reason: 06 - Error 13

Hi All - Does anyone know what Error 13 in EDC is? I have a system that was taken down back in August to test a new POS system. It is now back up but can't get CC's to process. The DEBOUT.EDC provides no guidance. EDC is connecting to the processor, but pops up with this message, both...

Using crystal w/ Aloha POS/ Getting data from multiple dated sub dirs

Hi All - I have posed this question any number of ways over on the point of sale forum but to no avail... I am running Aloha as my restaurant POS system. Aloha can be configured 2 ways, one with a SQL DB and one with a native Aloha DB. I orignally used the SQL DB config and could get the...

    Graphing Sales Data from Aloha

OK one more try before I venture over to the Crystal Reports board... Here is an example of what I need. I want to pull my net sales number for everyday for the last 30 days. I do not want a lump sum number, and I don't want to have to put multiple 'weekly' reports together for the data. I...

    Multiple Visa Tenders

Ok sorry for the long delay, but I solved the problem, or atleast figured out how to work around it. I have AMEX, VISA, MC. The original three are set as CC's and the type is set to the 'predefined' AMEX, VISA, MC in Aloha BOH. When I configure a second VISA and use the predefined it does...

Yes. Have it on on the original tender as-well...

    Multiple Visa Tenders

Nope, still adds the garbage character to the front of the number and says the prefix is still wrong... I don't think the DBF file is corrupt, everything else works fine... I would say it could be from the keyboard wedge but my regular CC tenders work just fine....

    Multiple Visa Tenders

I have isolated the problem, I just don't know why it happens. I have my second VISA configured exactly like my original VISA. For some reason when I swipe my card on the second VISA it puts a tiny garbage character in front of the first CC digit, on screen it actually shows the number and the...

    Multiple Visa Tenders

Thanks for checking, I'll try it again and see what happens. The tip line supression is working fine, just need to get the two tenders set up. Thanks!

    Multiple Visa Tenders

I mentioned this a while back but never found any resolution and after the CC masking thread I thought I'd bring it up again... I need one VISA tender to print a gratuity line and another not to (so I thought the best way was two seperate VISA tenders called by seperate buttons). I tried...

Cyrstal reports and Aloha Native DB

Anyone know how to run crystal reports off of the Aloha native DB? Wasn't a problme when I used the SQL DB, since it had a master list. Now that I am using the regular Aloha DB I have no master DB to pull data in Crystal reports from. Thanks!

    Aloha Grind/Report problem

Hello, I posted about this a week or two ago and had no responses so I figured I would try again. When I pull up my hourly sales and labor grind starts but before it finishes the report pops up. Since grind wasn't finished the report is not showing complete data, i.e. I have to run the...

    Aloha/Epson TM-80 serial problem

Alohaakamai - Thank you! That fixed it, I assumed that Aloha would communicate at whatever my COM port was set to, turns out it needs to be 8-E-1 9600 Xon/Xoff, which is what the DIP switch settings above reference. It does print a little slower than when I had it set as a windows printer...

    Aloha/Epson TM-80 serial problem

The TM IV has version 10.02. I have the same issue with both the TMIII and the TMIV. The dip switches are Switch 1, 7&8 ON, everything else is OFF. Can Aloha only communicate with it at 9600? Right now it is at 38000 8-N-1, hardware flow control. I would love to buy the Parrallel board, but...

    Aloha/Epson TM-80 serial problem

I actually have the same problem with my TMIII, not just the IV... Dip switches are correct in that the printer works fine as a windows printer...
