RCF on Partner working, but lines are not disconnecting when callers hang up

Thank you for the responses. Has anyone had any help using #203 settings? I know back in the day when I worked on a lot of Partners sometimes that helped when calls would get hung up in the AA. Thank you.

RCF on Partner working, but lines are not disconnecting when callers hang up

I have a client who just activated the RCF feature on a Parter R6. It is working, except when the call is completed the lines stay in use. They have to be disconnected at the station that the call was transferred to. Is this something that #203 can help with, or is it a carrier issue? I haven't...

    Failed to Save Configuration Data

Search for a thread from posted by TRCA. It sounds like a similar problem; I think it is a software incompatibility. If I read this wrong I apologize.

Door King connection to IP Office

thread940-1775764 makes reference to using a Stick with an IP Office to get the correct ring voltage to have the IP Office. The issue was resolved. I am curious to know if it was resolved by using the Stick, since I am having the exact same problem.

    Durafon 1x hunt group issues

I have 3 durafon 1x units and 3 bases installed on an IPO R11. The incoming call route is a hunt group that rings all phones (they have about 10 digital handsets in addition to the Durafon handsets.) There are days when everything works perfectly, and days when the Durafon handsets won't answer...

Upgrade not presenting as an option

I have an upgrade license but I have to go to 8.1.x or 9.0.x first to expand the boot loader. If they both do it what makes one better than the other - just idle curiosity on my part....

Upgrade not presenting as an option

Just to satisfy my curiosity - what makes 9.0.x better than 8.1.x? Thank you.

Upgrade not presenting as an option

I have decided to try again with a different computer. Is 9.0.12 the best release or does anyone here prefer a different version? Thank you.

Upgrade not presenting as an option

I have the full version. Thank you for your suggestions - I appreciate them.

Upgrade not presenting as an option

My apologies - I checked the path and both the config and.bin seem correct. Originally they were not; the customer was running 11.0 Mgr & even though I deinstalled it the upgrade still chose those directories. I deleted the folder that held the program and changed the working directories to the...

Upgrade not presenting as an option

I am attempting an upgrade from 8.0.xx to 9.0.12 as the interim step before going to R11. When I choose file/advanced/upgrade the fields that normally show what version are available are blank, and all fields are grayed out, not allowing me to select any boxes. I have de-installed and...

    SIP on Partner

I am experimenting with using SIP lines on a Partner using a Cisco SPA8000. The call quality is excellent, but I can't get the device to receive incoming calls. It's not the ACS, its the Cisco device because it happens with an analog handset as well. I have a ticket opened with Intermedia (they...

Short Code limitations for speed dial

Yeah, these guys are pretty old-school. They are a massive warehouse that supports multiple (thousands) of off site locations and they call them frequently to verify orders, etc. They have a need to call 'store 9230' and that with *6 in front will be the speed dial. It's how they identify...

Short Code limitations for speed dial

Thank you for verifying that. Still sorting out the speed dials - if each one represents a different location, and there is no match between the phone number and the identifying location number, wouldn't I need a short code for each location? So *60001, *60002, *60003 are, in reality, location...

Short Code limitations for speed dial

So.. if every short code represents a different 10-digit number, won't I need one for each number? And am I correct in my assumption that analog devices can't use a centralized directory? I am inferring that from statements regarding the directory that limit certain phones and seem to indicate...
