Do mobile phone users see if people in their contact list are actually using the phone? Similiar to a DSS button?

not a mitel guru at all. i have read the book front to back. it doesnt say one word about idle line preference. it can do it cause some phone do pickup a line when the handset is lifted. can anyone please help?

New system, new card, the DLC card shows a red light. In software it is out of service. When I try to put in service I get a card obstacle error. Version 5 TDE100 1 DLC16 card 1 DLHC8 1 LCOT16 16 channel DSP

I believe its an old one. They swapped it out for shortel so it doesnt matter now but thanks.

IP Office 8.0, How do I send a caller that has reached the AA directly to a voicemail rather than ringing their phone? Think I have lost my mind today.

I assumed there would be an essential license. Because when I upgraded to 8 it did not see it. I thought after making the call it magically appears hahaha. Then I would be able to upgrade back to 8. I have no idea really, does it show?

Fairly new to the IP office world, done some programming but never outta the box install. My cards all flash on ports 1 and 8 an amber color every so often. Why is that? I had to upgrade because the firmware that was on it did not show my CO lines. But i did not read about making the call...

per Panasonic; The help files for console version 7.2 have not been released. The Help files will not work for the TDE/NCP, these systems have the new ver5 and help files are not available yet. We are anticipating a release sometime in March. Ken Shulman Panasonic BTS Technical Support

I upgraded a TDE to V5, I can connect and program with no issues. I noticed that the V5 help files are missing. I do not see anything on the pana website. Are they hidden somewhere? If I open a lower version the help files are available only seems to be with V5.

The only thing that I can think that may have affected the voicemail is I setup the phone system to use port 16 before I had changed the Ext. numbers to 4 digits. But I then went back and deleted the vm ext. and tried it with the new ext. made no difference. All the voicemails work, all the...

Had a 1232 go crazy today, ended up having to default it and reprogram, not a big deal. But somehow all messages left in the voicemail are gone. I did nothing to the voicemail system, where did the messages go? Is there anyways to get them back?
