we have four incoming sendmail devices (firewalls) two are public facing while two are in a dmz. strange problem, emails that go through the public facing sendmail, get sent to exchange in html format (no problem) when these same emails are sent through dmz sendmail, they get sent to exchange...

a web proxy like blue coat would work. you can also look at websense. you can create groups of people that can access certain sites

does the tunnel come up?

is the server plugged directly in the ASA? bad cable? bad port? show interface, are there any errors on port?

are you using the dlink at a router or switch? meaing, do you have anything plugged in the WAN port of the dlink?

sounds more application related. ftp is port 20/21, make sure both are open but if you can get via command line, you should be able to application

the same as you would to create a single vpn. the 'map' is just that, how the device is going to build the tunnel.

i dont think i said the ping was tcp. but ping is considered interesting traffic in keeping and keep create and maintain a connection, socket, or vpn tunnel... good luck
