Hard drive is sure dead.
If it's a V1 as says the Part number ( the one with SATA drive )
You can try to simply replace the hard drive it by an other one and reinstall the UC Module software.
The SATA SSD is a 32 Mb .
I have a customer which even had run its UC Module with a 80Gb...

No audio usually means network issue.
Check network routes and VPN proposals to be sure VPN clients can contact internal agents IPs, and internal agents can contact remote IPs.
Also check VPN clients to be able to contact other VPN clients IP ;)

Still at the same rhythm of 20ms between each...

No problem with mixing the codecs.
I had some systems running alaw phones with ulaw SIP trunks, to avoid external transfer issues.
If you have "no audio" issue, just disable direct media "et voilà"
To make it simple,
Use Maxthon or an old Firefox portable. This can let you have an old stuff compliant browser, without shutting down security on you alldays browser.
Upgrade IP-DECT.
Upload, Boot, Firmware, reboot after uploading both.
You'll then be able to connect with a "standard"...

I personally prefer the "by call" overflow mode, so all calls are managed the same way.
In group mode, if there is 2 calls, both will overflow at the same time.
Assuming :
- Desk A group No answer timer is 15s
- Desk A group overflow timer is 25s
- Overflow group is sequential, Desk B, Desk C...
Th advantage of the overflow is adding phones to the ring.
After some seconds, the phone in the 1st group still rings, and one of the overflow group rings also.

If I understand correctly, you are switching from 4 independent installations each with a VMPro to one centralized Server Edition.
If I'm still right, you only get 2 VMPro channels per Server Edition, when Preferred gives you 4.
If you have 2 licensed Server Edition, you'll have 2 * 2 = 4...
