Hi all! My problem is that my cleaning tapes media type is HCART2 instead of HC2_CLN , can any one tell me how to change the media type? Or with witch command? Best regards

I don't really know i'm a bit new in these backups , i'm using scripts to do da duplications , they mount the 2 tapes and copy them from one to an other. This duplications normaly go to a vault for safe keeping

HI! my problem his that i'm trying to mount 2 tapes at the same time one is the souce the other is the destination, my robots are L25 with a stack link connecting them togheter , but the tapes are mount they stay thier a long time i go to a software a i have and it apears drive 0 is down or tape...

I solved it already , but in my case the tapes were frozen because i was trying to unfreeze the wrong media server, after running a repot on netback i found that out Rgds

Try this example its real easy (once you know what to do :P ) /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpmedia -unfreeze -m tape -h server

Hi! My problem is that after running JASS on Solaris 10 my passwords have expire dates , i would like to know if thier is a way to turn off the expire dates? I have gone to /etc/shadow and changed it by hand , but when I do a passwd username the expire date returns. Best regard

I forgot to say that i did the unfreeze they are not unfrozen , but i'm not sure if they will stay that way until tomorrow :S
