Thanks Greg and Jack for your response.
The issue is still there and various things are being thrown around from oracle 9i client vs oracle 10g db, backup software, vertias software, antivirus software, router issue, java issue, etc, etc :-)
If we find anything I will post.
Team,
We upgrade one of our LL installations to 9.7.1 from 9.5.1. (this is our second installation. We have 3 installations due to huge setup here).
In this upgrade, things went smooth. We have 2 front end with 3 LL instances and one seperate admin machine.
In the admin machine though...
This is simple folks. One of my team mates was playing with the attachment node permission (in the map definition of each sub workflow) and hence we were getting skewed results. Now we streamlined the permissions there, it looks good.
Here is the pattern. Can AppNair/other workflow guru's help.
Main Wkflow --> Sub Wflow1 --> Sub Wflow2 --> Sub Wflow3.
The attachment actually happens in Wflow3 only.
Hence in the status page (of completed or archived or even running workflows) if you go to Main Wkflow, Sub Wflow1, Sub...
Team, We developed a new workflow (this is has a main wkflow which calls another sub wkflow and inturn calls another subwkflow and then the final subwkflow finishes the wkflow). We have event scripts also but benign one's for CAPI inserts.
But what is happening is for some users, on the...
I think the issue is kind of resolved. We are validating more to make sure it works.
The issue is the Number(10) in form template and the Number(22) in the table for that particular column. We have other columns also of differing sizes but those columns have NULL values during insert and so did...
Just another quick info. We upgraded our QA system from 9.5.1 to 9.7.1 and this WF issue is there.
Looks like couple of issues people are complaining when upgrading on WF. Another issue is here at https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/livelink.exe?func=ll&objId=15676291&objAction=view
My apologies. The above was without any details. We managed to dig more and this is the following.
XML returned back to Livelink xmlwfic:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!-- Result of REG AFS Update Operation -->
<exec xmlns="http://www.opentext.com/llx/"><edittask...
Not sure what happened. 2 days after applying the march 2009 patch, myhome still stayed. But a restart yesterday cleared it and bought Favorites.
Talk about miracles --- :-)
As part of our roll out to a new team, we had to validate livelink speed versus file share speed.
When we open documents (say 1MB, 10MB, 100MB, 300Mb, 500MB) in LL it seems to be much faster than file share. LL beats fileshare by almost double. For instance 300MB open in LL is like 13 to 15...
Team, AppNair,
We have a weird situation. We have couple of workflows with xmlwfic step. This step basically calls a servlet which then comes back and fills in form data after which the workflow continues.
In one specific workflow, we are seeing that the workflow step is stuck for xmlwfic and...
Team, AppNair, Greg, the situation is resolved (but I do have a minor glitch). Thanks a ton. This forum is all because of you guys. I hope one day I can also be a contributor rather than an 'asker' :-)
Here is the story.
I gave the search filter as below and that did the trick.
The User...
Your points are perfect Nair.
I know of searchxml api. I will look into it wherein custom nice html can be done mimicing the look and feel of search page and search button goes of the API.
I have taken lot of your time and many thanks for that. Hopefully only search and ldap so far :-)
AppNair/Greg, Can we in anyway via opentext.ini or something skip entries with the wrong CN. Meaning can we set the settings in such a way even if wrong CN entries come up, livelink should ignore the error and proceed onto the next LDAP user?
