Took me a while to figure out how to eliminate the asterisk symbols
This command does it:
CHA-KNDEF:100,,,**********,0;
H500: AMO KNDEF STARTED
H06: PARAMETERS DPLN AND ADPLN HAVE NO EFFECT
AS THE VIRTUAL DIALING PLAN FEATURE IS NOT ACTIVE.
H02: NNO 100 CHANGED...
The * is being inserted due to the KNDEF table
I changed the values of the field ISDNLC to ***** with ISDNSK set as 5.
The caller ID now shows *****713NXXXXXX on the outbound tandem call.
Set it back to ISDNLC * with ISDNSK set to 0.
Back to single asterisk.

Trying to resolve the following problem.
Hipath 4K--Release V4 R4.0.26
System has 8 local LTU shelves.
System has 17 IPDA shelves.
System had 4 APE units--all are offline for months.
This site is to be decomm-ed in the next year or so and things get ignored and written off.
Anyway...
This is going to sound like a "story" but it's the truth.
I have had the same landline in my home for 40+ years.
Used for remote diags, etc.
On or around May 8, 2020 somebody walked into a Boost Mobile shop or did some online shenanigans with my landline.
They managed to get my landline number...

Don, thanks for this. I have heard of this before. My support is to remote sites where I don't have much control over what goes in and what comes out. But I can pass this on to the customers I support and let them know. Maybe we can find a crate of these on Ebay.
