Hi Everyone,
I am trying to avoid adding the multicast listener on each J100 phone and was hoping to use the 46xxspecials to add these parameters. Can someone share an example or even better a list of parameters you can add to the 46xx files ?
Thank you!
I have several app servers running into the same issue on R12. I haven't opened a ticket with Avaya, have been waiting for IT to look into it as I thought it was on the network side.
Yes, R11 backup will restore on R12 just fine. I do run into credential issues with vmpro after the restore sometimes. Just set the same credentials on the new server as the old. After the deployment, I recommend disabling “referred authentication” prior to restoring. Sometimes you’ll need to...
I would deploy R12 on Hyper-V and simply restore from a VMPro backup. I've been in the middle of these migrations lately with many of my customers moving away from VMware due to the cost increases. Many of them are on R11, so rather than performing two upgrades, the move to Hyper-V has been simple.
Hey All,
What is everyone using for a remote ftp backup solution for vmpro? I’ve tried couchdrop.io to allow me to save all backups in SharePoint but the backups aren’t coming through correctly and need to find another solution that isn’t a manual process. Thanks!
Hi Everyone,
I am trying to send VMPro FTP backups up to SharePoint for easy storage. I tried using couchdrop.io but it just corrupts the file. Anyone using a service that works well and doesn't mess with the file types?
Hi Everyone, is there a way to setup the IPO to auto login J Series phone via MAC address? I have a big deployment coming up and was hoping to not have to go around touching phones a bunch of times.
Thanks for the input everyone. I think analog is still the easiest way but it is what it is. I was told from someone that works on Aura that you can register two 3rd party SIP devices to the same extn number but that didnt work on the IPO. No sure if it works on Aura either just wondering.
Hi Everyone, We are trying to figure out a solution to use IP phones, either J129s or 3rd party SIP phones in a suite with two phones. We need them to ring simultaneously (trying to stay away from Hunt Groups if possible) and when calling other phones internally I need both phones to show the...
Avaya really buries this info, but I found what I needed here. Looks like ip400v2 modules are still supported
