I ordered new 9620 phones. I have 4610's in production right now. I am trying to get the 9620 to pull the 46xxsettings.txt file. Currently it does not seem to be pulling the file. Any ideas? Thanks for your time on this.

I want to program a new 9620 to use an 8 instead of a 9 to for the redial feature. However, I have never done this before. Does anybody know of a document that might help explain this?

I think I got somewhat of a handle on my situation for the most part as most of the issues were due to a bad cable that plugged into the phone or the phone itself...I have been able to resolve most of the issues by replacing the crappy cables with more high quality made ones...I find that users...

the screen freezes...it does not update time or anything...it is like the screen is frozen in time...I dont have this issue at my other sites and they are running the same version of firmware...it is a remote site...

I have several phones that are freezing up and have to be power cycled in order to work again. I have tried swapping out phones. Anybody got any ideas as to what causes this or how to fix it permanately?

I am trying to receive faxes and all fax machines are receiving this error message, denial event 1643 : off-hook dialing time out D1=0x8c20 D2=0x2816 I have an S8710 server running CM 4.0 This started happening about a week ago and some faxes are coming thru. Thanks for any help.

I have some questions about max users on conference calling and I was wondering if somebody might know the answer. How many people can you conference in on a 4610SW IP phone? How many people can you conference in on a meet me conference bridge on call manager 4.0? Thanks for your help.

Ok below is an excerpt from the doc on setting up ec500...it is listed in the troubleshooting section When calling your desk from your EC500 phone which sends office caller ID, the calls go directly to voicemail The switch sees the EC500 phone which sends office caller ID as your actual desk...

How do I remove the ability to send office caller ID thru my ec500 phone? Everything seems to be working well now except this one part. It goes straight to voicemail when I call my office phone. I tried what you said and it did not seem to work. Thanks for the help.

I just set this up and I do not use a dial prefix and I have just the 7 digits under phone number for my cell as it is considered a local number...
