I figured it out on these particular phones,the phone detects a message bye voltage so i set the message waiting to v101 and it worked fine

i have Telematrix 2800 phones on anolog extensions on a avaya ip office.The voicemail works but i cant get the message lights to work on the phones.I have mesaage waiting turned on for all the room extensions but still no light when there is a message when a guest is checked in.any help much...

yes i figured out how to rename the lines but cant find where to add lines on system i know its not under lines or system programming but cant seem to find out where any input please thanks

have a programming isuue with a nortel compact isc system it has 4 lines on the phones want to add 2 lines to system the pinout is correct and they are not appearing on the phones they show up as lines 31 an 32 on phones instead of lines 5 an 6 tried to rename lines is line programming no luck...

And the hyperterminal is through the maintenance port on back of system right thanks
