Two x SCR on one sest - incoming ringing

Of course - every user's favourite key! I will test that and make sure having to press a shift key and one other isn't a step too far for the users. Not to mention having to disable Make Set Busy after a call. But there is always that lovely tone as a reminder. Thanks for the help.

Two x SCR on one sest - incoming ringing

I thought about that, but the set is for two people using it at different times. They need different DN's as they cannot share a mailbox for messages. They both need an audible tone if their line is idle, but when busy they need the other to be silent, or at least only give one ring/buzz. TN's...

Two x SCR on one sest - incoming ringing

Hello bigindian65. If set to buzz, does this not make it buzz for the duration of the ringing cycle? That is what is happening now when the active call is on the handset. If the call is on speaker, the incoming call to the other line buzzes once. We want it to either stay silent or buzz only...

Two x SCR on one sest - incoming ringing

Hello On an Opt 61C 2511, we need a 3903 set with two different DN's, each on an SCR key. Is there a way of having only a visual indicator of an incoming call on one line when the other line is busy on a call? For some reason, if the original call is on speaker, the other line only buzzes...

    Name Display on call pickup

That simple, but I never would have looked there! They like me again now, at least for today. Thanks for the swift reply.

    Name Display on call pickup

We have 3900 series sets which do not show cpnd of the originating caller when call pickup is used - it shows the name of the called set instead. Picking up a call on 2616 sets shows the original caller's name. Any idea why the 3903's and 3904's only show the called name instead of the...

    attendant console question

I could be well off the mark, but are the ANUM values different for the two consoles? The one you have posted is 01, the other should be 02. Our is anyway.

Fianlly got the telco to swap the card in their exchange and everything has been stable since (fingers crossed). Thanks again for the advice.

    ERR9032: channels locking out persistently

OK, I will take it up again with the telco. trvlr1 - thanks. I outed the phone then reinstated a copy on the TN. All ok there as a result. Now just waiting to see which TN's have locked out this morning after grabbing those two bad channels. If I get any insights from the telco i will put...

    ERR9032: channels locking out persistently

I have looked in related threads but cannot see anything which explains or resolves this issue for me. Opt. 61C We have two PRI channels which keep locking out - always the same two channels (24 & 26). If re-enabled, they lockout almost immediately. The channels never enable automatically. We...

E1 link from 61C to Asterisk

Loop 06 is our current EuroISDN. I think this was previously on Loop 20 but maintenance changed it to 06. Loop 24 was previously (now unused) a 2meg tie to an opt 11 at another site. I assume the card for this is still in there. This should also be duplicated with a similar unused setup, as...

Looks like DISA is the way to go. I will look into it - convincing the powers that be should be interesting. Thanks to all for the advice.

E1 link from 61C to Asterisk

Hello I have looked around a fair bit but, due to ignorance in this area I cannot honestly decipher what I need to know. Here is the issue. A vendor has offered to lend us an Asterisk for a limited VoIP project, for the time being within the same site. Our IT people are keen to give it a go...
