Ok, fixed it. Turns out my service on the clients were not set to the correct user. it was using local account instead of my netbackup domain account. Exchange 5.5 does work with client 6mp3 as i've beening using it successfully for 3wks now.

Here are the steps i go through when i try to create my vlan. vlan database vlan 12 test-vlan up to this point its fine, and it responds by telling me that it has been created. next step i do is - apply its at this point i get the error message :- VLAN 1003 parent VLAN missing APPLY failed

It doesn't seem to matter what vlan number i add, it just refuses and gives me one of those messages when i try apply the vlan.

Hi i'm looking for a way to quickly discover which port on the switch has been associated with a mac address. I know i can just type "show mac add 0000.0000.0000". I am kinda hoping that there is a tool out there that will scan all the ports on the switch and return what macs are on...
