    Mitel 3300MXE New Network Help

Thanks for the reply. I believe that we are running software V6 and having checked there is no System IP address field to be able to change... I read somewhere that it needs to be done via a console cable which is well beyond me! Looking like I need to pay a tech to come in for a day and sort us...

    Mitel 3300MXE New Network Help

So I have inherited a very old Mitel 3300 phone system that is not under any form of support contract and so cannot be upgraded. It's that old that I have to have a Win XP VM running IE6 in order to administer it as any more recent browser will not work. Anyway - we are undertaking a complete...

IP Office Voicemail Pro weird DTMF issue

To close this off and in case anyone else should find it, the issue was caused by some changes to the firewall infrastructure that our managed ISP made.... apparently to do with disabling proxy-arp and enabling strict uRPF - this seems to have caused the issue - confirmed when they rolled back...

IP Office Voicemail Pro weird DTMF issue

I have a strange issue with my Avaya IP Office 500 system that I can't seem to solve. I have a little experience with Avaya but am not an expert by any means. Our system is set so that Voicemail Pro answers every switchboard call with a recorded message (press 1 for this, 2 for that etc) The...

    Strange Hub issue

Nope, no management functionality to the unit at all as far as I can tell from google searches. (there are certainly no RS232 or similar ports on the unit itself)

    Strange Hub issue

It would appear I'm not.... My translation of the labels on the unit from Portuguese into English was flawed!! A google search reveals that the unit (a Cnet 2400) is actually a switch. Still have the same problem though!

    Strange Hub issue

Whilst trying to insert a Draytek unit into our network today I have come across a strange issue. If I connect my satellite router to the Draytek and the draytek into my test switch and then plug my server into the test switch then everything functions fine, the server has Internet, I can...

    DNS Problem in Server 2003

Just to update this thread with a resolution in case anyone with the same problem comes searching. It seems that the problem was due to the fact that our although our Win 2003 server was handling DHCP and NAT duties, the i-direct also still had NAT and DHCP server turned on. Turned those 2...

    DNS Problem in Server 2003

The router is an i-Direct 3000 satellite internet router, it's managed by the ISP, so there's little I can do to it firmware wise. The ISP are saying that the reason why my connection stops working is that the number of "sessions" originating from my LAN reaches their max allowed limit and so...

    DNS Problem in Server 2003

I do have a second NIC enabled in the machine, this is connected to my network switch (the Internet router is connected to NIC1, the hub to NIC2) To get it working again, I manually reboot the Internet router. Said Internet router is connected to a UPS. Does this help further?
