Thanks so much for the suggestions, however I think that machine is in bad shape, after restarting now it will prompt the "repair startup commmand" and I can't start W7 normally, it will then come up with the windows default screen and nothing happens (no Icons,just the blue sky screen) Is this...

One of my devices doesn't work with chrome anymore ?? Uninstall reinstall and so on, didn't help at all..When starting chrome it would stall and I would have to do a cold restart..However it works with IE .. any suggestions ??

Thanks so much for all the valuable links , however just my last "Q" : if a company knows that their product is still full of bugs, why would they release it and most of all why would they force the consumer to update ?? It just doesn't make sense to me..

Thanks so much for the help, so if I download that file or delete that reg file will I be able to download the sec updates on W7 ?? because as of now it will serach for updates but wont find anything ??? sorry I am not an expert ..

still not convinced to jump to W10, but I have problems getting updates for W7 ?? Any different site I have to get the updates ?? the system looks for it but it wont get it.. I just hate to be forced and raped to update to somethin I don't want ..

Impressed by the replies of this topic, so here is my "Q" ?? I do NOT want to upgrade and use W8 for now, but I am forced (raped) to do it when going to the Windows update page... can I defend myself or do I have to be raped against my will ??

Good morning, I have read about the features with W10, it doesn't sound like some exiting stuff to me ..Is it worth it to install ?? They almost force you if your free install expires ?? Any thoughts , recommendations ??
