Excellent,
I quickly tried messing with that code. That will work great. The little "Cancel" bit is all I need to know to keep me running!
Thanks so much.

Ok, I found the "Top Values" setting under the properties of the query. I can easily slap an "18" in here...but...
what I would like to do though is get a recordcount and divide the result by 18. Then round down to the nearest whole number and multiply that by 18 to get the number of...
Hello,
I have a database that I'm writing that is handling a few tasks. One of its functions is adding new inventory (the final table gets exported to the POS system).
The price tags are all custom made and die cut on sheets with 18 labels.
During the actual inputing of the inventory I am...
Hi there,
I need to know if I'm heading in the right direction. I'm creating a (what I thought was simple) access database that handles rentals (clothing rentals).
I have a table that handles all the products. These have barcodes, etc. I managed to get all that working.
I have also...
Thanks for the response!
The company is still sending in house email. If I change the default connector to forward to Verizon will this affect that at all?
My assumption is that if I just change the authentication info in the default that I'll be good to go.

Hello,
There are a number of threads discussing the use of the (Forward all email to email server at your ISP) setting.
Basically, I want to use it. However, my client uses Verizon DSL as their ISP and the SMTP server requires authentication. Is there anyway to include a username and...
Actually, I was being stupid and thinking that I needed the exact amount of numbers in that tblNums. I wasn't thinking of using the criteria <=6 etc.
Having a static table also makes it easier for multiple users. I could see a mess of sorts if two people were trying to delete/update that...
Thank you both for you suggestions.
The quick and dirty way would be to have the 6 fields with dates and yes/no complete. I could do this easily but I do like to be a little more dynamic than that. What if I setup a 4 year plan?
I had already looked at your recurring schedule Duane...
Ok, I see how that works. I had not thought about just having all the dates in one record and at first I thought this would work for me. However, this doesn't allow me to mark when the service call was done, whether they were contaced for the call. In essence there is information for each call...
Hello,
Here is what I would like to do and I'm stumped.
I have a product that I sell that gets serviced every 6 months for 3 years. So if they purchased the product on 06/01/05 then the service dates would be:
12/01/06
06/01/06
12/01/07
06/01/07
12/01/08
06/01/08
I have an order that I put...
A common misunderstanding is that the Data is on the underside of the CD. It isn't. Thats why if you scratch the bottom you can 'buff' it out. The data is actually on the label side. So if you scratch the label side you are much more likely to do damage to the data.

Okay,
I'm a little more educated. Here is a solution that would seem to work. Is it the best solution?
The only thing I have to send EDI is an 810 invoice. The information has to be sent AS2.
What I think I need is a translation software. Export data from Access and translate through...
Hello,
The only thing I know about EDI is the definition. I have a supermarket that wants all of my invoices via EDI. I have an Access database. The invoices all have about 40 lines and I do about 30 invoices a month. Thats a lot of double entry. Is there a way that I can take the info out...
