When I put in this command: crypto map [map_name] interface outside (substituting vendor_map for [map_name] ) I got an error ERROR: unable to find interface "outside" The guy that was "helping" me said to just use the map that already existed. That was why I didnt try that.

Yes, we currently do have one for a different use. This one is for a vendor to be able to connect directly to us, so we should have 2 when we are done. Is it not possible to have 2 at the same time? Or is the map name causing me an issue?
