Im finally kind of getting to grips with SMS now but have found a few things different when deploying software compared with active directory deployment.

Ok im fairly new to SMS and it has been recommended to me by many people as a favourable solution to deploy software to our single domain system.
All of our installs need to be silent and mandatory for the computers as they are in LABs and are required to be set up identically.

Its got the client and the Systems Management tool. But i think you could be right about creating it with the same name/ip.
Basically its a lab with 65 computers. All of the computers will always have the same name and ip address due to the set up of DHCP and Active Directory.

Ok like the subject says, i'm new to SMS. i have set it up etc and deployed a package that i created. But then i reinstalled one of the machines that the package was advertised to (its a mandatory advertisment) and the software hasnt re-installed itself. Does anyone know what im doing wrong?
