Hi all, I have noticed that ping results to BayStack 450 within lan are around 20-40 ms whereas pings to any end host within lan are in less than 1 ms. Does it mean that my BayStack 450 is too busy? If so, what should i examine?

Hi, Is there any way of monitoring Cisco clusters using HPOV NNM. Right now it displays only commander switch and interface status. Once suggested to assign each member switch with its own ip and add them into NNM. I am running NNM 7.53 with latest patch NNM_01193 on Windows server 2003 r2...

    Nortel Advanced Licensing

Please correct me if i am wrong, ers 5500s needs advanced licensing to enable smlt, vrrp, ospf, etc, whereas ers 1600s does not need any licensing to enable smlt, vrrp, ospf, etc. Have downloaded "converged data networks licensing guide" says nothing about 1600s licensing. Thanks.

    Stack performance

Hi all, Does stack numbering have an influence on the stack performance? Or it simply mean which next unit in stack may replace base unit in case of failure. I can see following information, Current Unit Number MAC Address ------------------- ----------------------------...

Nortel BayStack switches RADIUS authentication and authorization

Both username and password should be less than or equal to 15 characters. Although AD allows to create longer usernames and passwords, switch allows only 15 characters to be passed.
