I have an integration setup that will import POs from another system. However, I receive errors that the Item is not associated with the item. When you manually enter a PO, it prompts to create the association. Will IM not do this? This means for every item and vendor combination, I will have to manually create an association before running the integration (I have to run it daily).

Does this seem a little nuts?

As well, when integrating PO's, the tax schedule does not get added and not tax is calculated. When we have to invoice, we have to add the tax schedule to each line item because simply adding it to the bottom of the receivings window doesn't do anything.

When I manually add the same information in Great Plains, the tax schedule gets added. Using the integration does not.

I've found a few things missing from those SQL Optimized integrations. Just the other day I ran across a couple of fields I couldn't map on a Receivings Transaction integration.

What's strange is the the SOP integration has additional options to update inventory records but the PO one doesn't seem to have those.

I guess you can run a SQL script before the integration to update the records. :( I think I'd ask the Tools team what they suggest. They are usually good with coming up with solutions.
