caller id on m7208

Can anyone tell me can you get the caller ID info on m7208 or is only available on the 2 line displays. We have installed some m7208 on an existing system got the programming done and the phone numbers will not display on the 7208's just the 7310's. I have varified the programming and it is the same as the working m7310 sets.

Anyone have any thoughts. Thanks

what is your system and software level. the MICS previous to rel 5 (maybe later) could only display caller ID on one phone per outside line, cics and later mics could display multiples

OK Then two questions.
do the lines appear and ring on the 7208? (ringing is required for caller id)
do you get caller id display on the 7208 when you are on a call that the other phones showed the caller ID on. (not ringing but active display)

during ring ...only one set can get the callerID ...
you should get the caller ID when on a call
what do you get when you hit feat811 when talking on a call?

A CICS should show on multiple Stations but they have to be ringing the set first then check the programming for the terminals &Sets->telco features->Class assignment->caller id set->

I've got all the sets as caller id sets. when you hit feature 811 nothing happens. all the lines are ringing and appearing on all the sets. I checked all the lines at the dmark with my butt-set and they have called id riding on them.

OK Now I'm stumped. if you take a 7310 telephone and plug it in to a 7208 tel set location that dosen't give you caller ID do you then get caller ID?

you might be looking at a software glitch and need to swap out the software flash card
