Hello Everyone, forgive me but it has been a while since I needed to write any software and am trying to get back up to speed.
What I need to do is connect two computers via the printer port LPT1 the recieving computer has to make the sender think its talking to a printer , the recieved information stored as a file for further work...

I don't think you'll be happy with the results, primarily because you'll be overrun.
It has been a while since I did it, too, and not at the speeds and interfaces of today.
Would you consider the alternatives, print to file, or print buffer exchange to serial? Or networked systems dumping to print to file?
