Hi ALL,
Has Anyone know what kind of phone is good for POOL / Courtesy Phones. do you have any link / website for company that selling POOL / Courtesy Phones. We got stolen several times for the Courtesy Phones. How to secure the phone ?

Thanks

If the phone is to be a wall set I use a 2554 type telset, remove the cover and screw the phone to the wall using the two mounting holes in the base. For a desk set use a 2500 type set and screw it down to whatever it is sitting on.

Agree with oldphoneguy...

We install systems in cinema's where "if it isn't bolted down" it's gone!

A standard featureless wall telephone with a couple good long washered drywall screws / anchors lets you still mount the phone using a modular wall plate for easy service, but makes it's removal very difficult. Basic Cortelco commerical models are readiy available Graybar Electric ( etc. and are also ADA compatible with volume controlled handsets. (If you're unfamiliar with cover removal, there are two flat head screws below the extension designation label).

To prevent theft of the handsets, use a side cutters to remove most of the modular plug release keys on both ends of the cord. If a new cord is needed, a small screwdriver will let you unhook the cord, but your nifty ADA handsets won't grow legs as easily.

Lastly...RESTRICTIONS! Use your line selections, call restriction and allow tables accurately to prevent toll abuse.
