I am using an ip office to maintain remote sites and if i leave my iproute pointing to a service, the system seems to dial up on its own. This costs us loads so we know unplug the isdns when we are not using it. Any help would be appreciated

This is an old problem which occurred during the Alchemy developments. I would check your firewall settings. I tend to include the following along with the default;

IP Protocol = 17
Match Offset = 20
Match length = 2
Match Data = 0088
Match Mask = fffc
Direction = Drop

Alternatively, create dummy service. Make this service the default route. Give it a time profile which is only active between 1am and 1.02am on a sunday. I think you could afford 2 minutes once a week.
