We are looking for a small POS to use in a retail store. This is a small store that sales Mag's Candy and power drinks. Right now we are using our Micros system for it. I was looking at Quickens POS but am looking at other alternatives for it.

Thanks in advance,

Doug

Hi KeyTechSupport
what do you mean by web-based its on one server?
the demo if tried to process a sale I entered a customer
it didn't go further?
please reply

We recommend a screen size of 1024x768 and at least Internet Explorer 5.5 and above.

Once you enter a new customer and click the Save button, a "cash register" link will appear below the demographic information. Click this link and then you can begin barcode scanning in items. Enter this SKU# 764302117001 and press enter. The item will be added to the register. You can continue adding items or choose the sale method and click on check out. You can get additional SKU#s from the Inventory Manager link.

eStoreKeeper is totally web based and all data and software reside on the web server. Nothing is stored on the client POS computer. All we recommend is that the client have at least a DSL connection and a good computer with Internet Explorer 5.5 and above and available USB ports to run the receipt printer, barcode scanner, credit card swipe, display pole and cash register.
