At my remote site I have a Definity Prologic system. I have a modem connected to it (done by our maintenance folks), but every time I dial into the switch it refuses to take my logon and password. I am using the Definity Site Admin suite of software and have had no problems using it to access my G3 system. It seems that something in the Prologic system is not set up correctly for Remote Admin. Anyone got any ideas where I might have gone wrong?

Thanks,
John

Do a "display login {your login}. Check to see if the field "Access to INADS port" is set to yes. If it not set to yes you will not be able to dial into the PBX.

Thanks

Chris

Cool thanks. I'll check. Also, is there any way to administer the INADAS port. You know set the bit rate, baud etc.?

"change system maint" will let you change the modem settings. Not recommended if you still need Avaya maintenance. -CL

Hello Folks!!!
Thank-you for all your help. We finally got it figured out. Apparently when we asked Avaya to remove one of our Tech's login from the Prologics they also turned off access to the INADS port. We got some folks on the phone and got that issue resolved. Thanks again.
