New Guy->Training

I'm new to the telecommunications field. My company has made me the "phone guy" and I must get training on what it is that I need to know. That is a Lucent phone switch(Definity), CentreVu CMS, and the Audix voice mail system.

I know enough to keep the switch running as well as simple maintanence, but as any professional would understand, I fear the omni present horizon of a complex problem.

Any suggestions on where to go? Or what courses?

Definity has a lot of good training on CDs. Some of your best training will come from reading past forums and asking a lot of questions. Look!!! New Buttons

There is a lot of good useable info at the Avaya site. I would start with the "definity little instruction books". There are also docs on maintenance etc but they can be heavy going. The site is at
