Can anyone tell me how to get detailed stats for the Attendant. The list measurements commands don't seem to detail total calls for the whole day only peak. If I logged the attendant in as an agent and use CMS would this be the best way to get them -not sure if this would upset normal functioning on the console.

There is a new feature/RTU called attendent vectoring. This would give you detailed reports but you need to be at R9+ PBX/Callcenter and R9 CMS. -CL

:( have version 6 so that's a no go.

any way of just getting total calls for the day or week for be a start.

If you have just basic vectoring, you could change 0 and/or your current LDN's to VDN's. Give the console a new number. Have the vector do a "route-to number xxxx unconditionally" where xxxx is the new attd number. This will give you some basic daily/weekly/monthly totals (assuming you have CMS). It will give you up to 1 week of daily reports if you only have BCMS. -CL

I have managed to change the trunk groups so that incoming calls to the main switch board number get routed to a VDN and then onto the console attendant and works well -thanks. The only calls that are not measured are those where people dial 9 for attd internally. I understand that the dial table controls the extensions, dacs and facs but how would I divert calls to the attd (using 9 to the same vector? It would be useful for the VDN report to pick these up also.

Are you saying 9 is the attd? If so, you can change an unused range in the dialplan to be the attd. You can then make 9 an ext. Add VDN "9" and you should be done. -CL

That was nice and simple- why didn't I think of that:)

Well I removed attd from the dial plan completely and no error was displayed - can't really see a need to keep it in. Is this wise?

Well the 9 is very well known (at least in the Netherlands) for being the number to dail internally to get to the Attendant.
If you remove it make sure all your internal users know that they have to dial the new VDN now... Please let me know if the information that was provided is helpfull.

By the way, try to get ASA 1.10 then you can schedule the
list measurements attendent .... reports to run every hour in the advanced report option, export it to file and let it append to existing file.

See if that helps to gather sme info.

Well to get to the attendant console now the users still dial 9 so they won't notice any difference. Rather than having attd in the dial plan lopes1211 suggested entering 'extension' in it's place after having made a VDN extension 9. In the VDN I have a route-to Attendant extension. This way it gives me the basic stats I need for internal usage of the attendant. If I pull a VDN interval report it now gives the hourly and daily total of these calls throughout the whole day.

By the way does DSA also have the option to list measurements to an excel as ASA.?

how many simumtaneous calls can hear a single announcment and also to announcemt board

When an Announcement needs to be played back to a caller this is accomplished through the Announcement Circuit Pack. The caller will be connected to a channel of the Announcement Circuit Pack and the right Announcement will be played back.

An TN750 Announcement Circuit Pack has 16 channels, one single Announcement can be played back on all channels at the same time. When all channels are busy the callers that need to be connected to an Announcement will be put in a separate Announcement Queue.

The maximum size for the Announcement Queue on G3si is 200 calls, on the G3r this is 4000 calls.
NOTE THESE MAX. VALUE'S ARE DIFFERENT FOR CERTAIN RELEASES

When a channel comes available the DEFINITY will get call(s) from the Announcement Queue towards this channel and playback the right Announcement.

The maximum number of calls that can be connected on one single channel at the same time and listen to the same Announcement being played back is 50 calls for the G3si, and 1000 for the G3r.

Please let me know if the information that was provided is helpfull.
