Yes, you're totally correct. It is just that we want to upgrade some customers that already have a Audix V3.0.
So we are looking for a way to transfer the data (read, possible voicemail-messages) from the old system to the new V4.0 system.
First you must purchase new tape drive and new upgrade tape for backup your old 3.2 audix version form avaya co.
Then remove the old audix 3.2 machine and then put the new audix 4.0 machine into PBX , restore the data then reboot.
Finally reduce the port from 16 port to 12 port and then reboot again that will work again.
