I am trying to print the bar code field in Inventory Label Printing, Sales Order, Receipt label, etc. and every time, it just prints garbage. The forms are non-graphical. The Mas90 docs say, just change the print field from N to Y and it will print. I have set up Bar Code Printer Maintenance, the Device Configurator, etc, but no luck. I have a number of bar code fonts installed. Does Mas90 require you to select a specific font? If so, where is that set? Any ideas????

I would recommend that you use the graphical forms (crystal reports) it is much easier.

You can turn on graphical forms by going into the specified module (ie Sales Order) then go to the Setup menu and select the 1st menu option. Go to the forms tab and select the forms you want to set as graphical.

I hope this helps

You may want to look at the way you set up your printer in Device Configuator. I have alway had the best luck with the following:
Use Device Type: WINDOWS PRINTER PORT
Device Name: Windows Default Printer
Code: PW
Driver: most applicable for your printer

Bar Code Printer maintenance: select PW and closest driver

When printing make sure you select your PW printer.

To use the Graphical Option you will have to purchase special fonts to be able to print Scanable fonts.

PS MAS 90 can not print (non-graphically) to a thermal printer. Scanco ( has a utility which will allow MAS90 to interface with a Thermal Printer.
