I have been trying to rebuild the application sort files for the BOM. Everytime I have tried to run this it gives me the folowing error.

"This application/Company is being accessed by another utility"

I have gotten everyone out of MAS90 and Rebooted the server to make sure that there was no other session hung open. This still doesn't help me.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Scott

I've had this issue once before, and what did the trick was two things:

First, go into the Mas 90 directory and look under the Home\Sessions directory and try to delete each of the files individually. If you receive an error that states you cannot delete that file, continue on to the next untill you've gone through all of the files.

Next, have everyone log out of Mas 90 that is working in that company. Look at the Master console for anyone who's id is still listed as being active in the company. Write down the station number (begins with a T) on the left of their names and how many times their name appears with the same first three digits as their station number.

for example:
T138-001 JS Joe Smith
T138-002 JS Joe Smith
T235-001 JS Joe Smith

You would note as having id 138 and appearing twice and id 235 as appearing once - even though they are the same user.

Next, go into the Data File Display option and enter the following:

sy0ctl.soa

Note:thats SY0CTL.SOA - so you can see the letters clearly

Next click the "Key Scan" button and scroll through the list until you find the first station number (in our example we are using id number 138) on your list in [] along with some other funny symbols. Select the first line you find with that number and double click on it. Now that entry will be displayed on the screen. You will need to click on the forward arrow to scroll through all the entries for that id. As you scroll, look at all the entries untill you find that user's name, in this case Joe Smith. We will click on the delete button to remove that entry with his name. Since we have him listed twice for that id, we will need to continue click the next arrow untill we find that last screen with his name on it and delete that one also. Keep an eye at the top left corner of each screen because you don't want to go past the id number we are working on. In this case, the id number 138 should appear somewhere in the top left corner of each screen as we scroll forward.

Now you will need to do this for each id you have noted as still be in the mas 90 system. When you are done, you should check the master console once more to be sure no one was left behind.

This should do the trick.

Here is an easy way to clear this message:
In Data File Display and Maintenance
File name: SY0CTL
select the KEY SCAN button
select the Search button
then enter "u"
Delete any "uti...." records from the SY0CTL file then exit and message should not occur.
