Invalid extension map on vmpro 1

We have a auto attendant saying that if you know the extension you want to reach dial it now. I have already setup the $key and its working. The problem is what if the caller dialed the wrong extension?

Invalid option is not working on menu option.
 
The Menu action doesn't know what you're using the dialed digits for, just whether they match the configured menu options or not.

You need to route that brach of the callflow to a Test Variable action set to verfied that $KEY is a valid user or extension number.

Other people also add a system shortcode like 2XX that routes calls back to the auto attendant.

Test Variable $KEY to Extension and Hunt Group, match to Transfer $KEY. No Match and Timeout to Goto action back to the Auto Attendant, put enu/100.wav as the prompt in the Goto so Joyce the Voice says "Invalid entry" before the AA plays again. You can just connect it directly, but then you would have lines crossing over themselves, which I don't like
 
Hi All

Thanks to the recommendation that you shared. It is now working. Now, I encountered some problems

1. What action need to put if the caller wants to hear "invalid entry" 3times and then drop?

2. We have a tie trunk to CM and we tried to dial CM extensions suddenly the call always drop. It seems only IPO extension cqn vmpro map or is there other way?

Also do you know why its not mapping the CM Extensions even if I use the $key?
 
The CM trunk link just exchanged dialled digits and, when connected, speech. The two systems are not exchanging data. You have to do something manually.

No, they're your systems, learn them. You known the extension numbers configured on the CM, you need to configure a short code on the IP Office that sends calls to those numbers to the CM trunk.

Currently you seem to what everything done for you automatically and barring that, done by someone else. Even your handle hints at wanting the world to do things for you.

Hi sizbut, dialling from ipo to cm were already configured and working before I start the thread. The shortcodes were already there. Just wondering why isnt mapping when dialing the cm extension only on ipo extensions.
 
The IPO doesn't know what extensions are in the CM and the VM Pro element don't match shortcodes, only extensions in IPO.

You will need to make a separate element that tests if you've entered a valid CM extension.

-And we don't known what the CM extension numbers are.

Maybe if you get a bit more intelligent about telling use what's set up we can maybe help. What are the extension number ranges on each? What else do you route between the two?

We are using h323 trunk IPO SE to CM

We use the shortcodes 1XXX / 1N / ARS: 51

In the ARS:

1XXX / 1N / LINEGROUP ID: 15 (TRUNK BETWEEN IPO TO SE)
 
So you need to test for them dialing 1XXX. Try that and if you have issues post what isn't working then we will be happy to help.

As already stated the system does not know, or "map" as you put it, the extensions from the CM. It will only do that with another IPO or SE but nothing else.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
 
This is already working. I changed the line group ID going to the Trunk of IPO to CM of the system shortcode that I use.
