Hi All,

Is there a quick and easy way to get a list of users/subscribers from an Aura Messaging system (either via the Web interface or SSH)

I've looked and cannot find anything.... Google was NOT my friend :-(

Cheers,

Paul

Incidentally... I notice that there is a plain-text ldap.out file in the /voice1 directory when browsing through the SSH interface. That might do the trick, but does anyone know how to refresh it?

Best way it to use ASA to export the subscribers. That gives you a great list of the users.

Or in the reports section you can list all users and then print to file.

Reports (Storage) --> Users. Then up towards the top have it Display ALL. Place your mouse cursor just in front of the very first user, click the left button and then bring it down to the bottom right of the screen. This should highlight users. If you wait a few seconds it should highlight even the ones you cannot see on screen. Then release the left button and use Ctrl+c to copy all the entries. You can then paste the entries into an excel spreadsheet. I would not suggest using Ctrl+a to select everything on the page because you end up doing quite a bit of cleanup to the spreadsheet format if you do.

The initial paste does things a bit goofy but it's fine if you are just looking at entries. If you need to manipulate the data it's best to copy that initial spreadsheet and the paste just the values (paste special --> values) into a new spreadsheet. For some reason trying to do the initial paste as just pasting the values doesn't work very well so doing the second step actually is well worth it.

Many thanks, but I've taken a look at the system again, but under "reports" it only shows "Full mailboxes" - Is this a permissions issue?

I've attached a screen-shot.

The reason for this question is that I've been asked to find the following specific numbers:-

1. Aura Licences configured/available
2. Elite Licences configured/available
3. Logged-in agents i.e. using Elite licence

So any help appreciated.

If that is all you need then just go to administration and licensing (see picture attached) and it will show you basic and mainstream numbers

What login are you using ? You should have the privileged admin or dadmin

I need a definite list - I suspect that I've not got a proper login.... I've reverted back to the customer

Thanks for all the help.

You can get a list of users but you will not get a list of users by license type that i have ever seen. Still the best way it to use ASA and then you can kind of see what features are being used or list by COS to see what Licenses are being used.
