Error 3106 - Unable to Connet remotely to DB

I am unable to connect to our Pervasive SQL 7 db (running on NT) remotely. When I try to connect with the Pervasive client (Monitor)from a PC, I recieve an Error 3106.

I've verified that the Accept Remote Requests option on the server is set to ON for both the Btrieve Communication and Scalable SQL Communications. My PVSW.log file indicates: &quot;Btrieve server not found. PNSL open session by name returned status = 3106. 2-06-2001 15:41:30 W3UPI104 FDBEE6AB N\W32SSMON.exe&quot; <Unknown> Scalable SQL server not found. PNSL open session by name returned status = 3106.&quot;

Has anyone come across this problem or have any suggestions.

I had the same problem. It turns out that newest version of MPM (2.2) run in &quot;standalone&quot; mode cannot connect to a remote location. If your problem is related to MPM, then you'll need to uninstall the standalone version. Then re-install MPM to your server. Then run setup from the server to set the client up on your workstation.
