This is a function of the ftp server, not WS_FTP. The ftp server has a connection timeout setting under "properties" ("ftp site" tab)/"connection" (in IIS). It defaults to 900 seconds, or fifteen minutes. It seems likely that your host has adjusted this down, or is using another ftp server with a shorter default. John Hoarty
