Hello Guys
Does anyone knows the maximum ADSL speed supported by the cisco 837 ADSL router?I know it only supports the technology ADSL1,but I can find any info on the max speed.
Thank you

Well, like any dsl modem, I believe 8Mbps is the max speed you get over POTS, so 8Mbps I would say.

Thanks Burt
Will take your word for it.It's for a buyer who has a 4MB link.If it doesn't hold true, wil send you the bill ;-))
Regards

I have 3MB at home and an 837, and no problems. If you send me the bill, can you send me the router too?lol

Burt

regualr adsl will be 8mb.
if it can do adsl+ or adsl2 then it will go higher

Q. Do the platforms support ADSL2/2+?
A. The Cisco 857, 876, and 877 routers support ADSL2/2+ standards.

adsl2 should be able to go up to 24mb
there is no reason why any cisco couldnt' do 4mb though. im sure they are all at least the old adsl standard which is 8mb/800kb

Thanks guys!Very helpful information!!!!
Regards
