Hi everybody,
I'm from Georgia, Caucasus region. I need unicode support in Great Plains v8.0
Any suggestions please, is it possible to write in Georgian into Great Plais windows? As i see it doesn't has such support as only ?????(question marks) appear as i try to input in unicode. Is there any solutions, and adon, service pack or third party software that add this functionality? thanks in advance

Great Plains does not support Double Byte or Unicode.

The language it is written in, Dexterity, was never designed to handle double byte or unicode and so Great Plains cannot support it.

I have heard of people trying to use Chinese characters with Great Plains with some level of success. I think they were using a product called RichWin to help with the character display. There were some querks that you would find, like needing to press Delete twice to delete one character.

Regardless of whether you have any success getting this to work, it is NOT supported by Microsoft and if you have any problems related to trying to use double byte or unicode, you will not get any support.
