We just put in 3 Zultys systems last September and 2 more in December. Very happy with the product's reliability and features. With the call routing features and switching from analog to PRI these systems are saving us roughly $1500 per month indefinitely. The only problem I am having is on the MXMobile app for my BlackBerry. It will not connect. Double-checked … triple-checked everything on our internal network, (NAT’s firewall, etc, etc) and still cannot connect from my mobile.
Any tips and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone thinking of a PBX Upgrade should check them out. we replaced 2 IP Offices, a meridian and 2 norstars with 5 MX250's
I researched the Cisco, Samsung, Avaya, Vertical and this on seemed to be the "best bang for the buck" Very happy with my decision, just wish I could get ht emobile app to work.

Are you running a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES)?

If so, policy settings on there may be restricting the application from having the proper network access on the BlackBerry.

Also go into the application permission settings on your blackberry and just for giggles set all access permissions for that software to Allow and save that. That could also be blocking some parts of the app.

actually i removed myself from BES a long time ago, since then upgraded to the storm 2 and all app permissions are set to allow

when i first try to connect i seem to go online for a brief second and then it dropps to offline
everything points to an internal network issue, but i have everything set up correctly here

Who is your BB provider? Could they be doing something to block what I assume is meant to be VOIP traffic on their network?

it's possible, i may call them
i do not think it is the problem though since the application won't even connect before using VOIP

Another thought I just had. If you have one of the Blackberry models that has WiFi on it, try accessing the system from a public WiFi connection, and if your company has a wireless network in place try accessing it from that. In my company I can login to our secure network using the LEAP protocol and once I am on there it is just like sitting at any other computer on the network - the carrier is taken out of the equation. Also through a public hotspot like in a McDonald's or something it should also take you off the carrier's network. Should help with troubleshooting it it's the carrier or not.

i actually tried the wifi oprion at my house last night, the application looks for the 3g signal and not wifi
i love these systems, but i think i may just have to scrap the app and do all the managment for my office and cell phone on the system itself

I am glad that you are very happy with Zultys. We love this sytem as it has so many features that ship right out if the box.

My first question to you is, What has your VAR (installer) said about helping you resolve this issue?

We have several clients on the Blackberry and iPhone app. it is really so simple and was meant to be very simple. the fact that you are having so much trouble, leads me to believe it has not been setup correctly.

Zultys support is very, i mean very good about fixing issues. I know if you were my client and could not access any feature, i would have Zultys either fix the problem or get an ETA on when a Patch will be issued.

The vendor has been excellent on this entire project. We're actually working on the last 2 this month. I am pretty sure it's our network. I just need to pull away from everything and check the firewall here and make sure it's not causing the problem.
Everyone I talked to said it's usually an easy setup.

I do have Verizon with unlimited data. But will check with them to see if they have anything blocking it.

Thanks again...
