'ztar' backup & retore utility on Sco Unix

I have a ScoUnix server running a backup utility ? called ztar which compresses the files it writes to tape - I am having problems restoring from tape - I tried the folowing

# ztar -xvZf /dev/rStp0 /cs3/sys

but no files were restored !

any suggestions please ?
