Zoom extents and update filtype (DWG) to current type.

I Want to do two things outside AutoCad 2002, if possible.
From VB (Not VBA):
Zoom extents a list of files, path included, listed in a filList box or a TextBox and update them at the same time to current version if they are not (AutoCad 2002 ex. from ex. R12)
Any sugestions ? Please with some source code.

Its posible all you need to do is search the registry
autocad paths and then load them to your listbox or textbox and then do some change and save it to registry
which will also affect the autocad when it will load.
