I am working with 2 DS-16b2 switches. I'm trying to create a new zone for 2 new Dell PowerEdge 2650s with 1 HBA each, and a 136T with 2 ports connected to the SAN for a total of 4 new ports. To start i'm plugging all ports into switch #1, and ignoring the 2nd switch because I only have 1 hba per server...

I created the WWN aliases for each connection.

I created a new zone specificially for these 2 servers and the 136T called "brightstor".

I then added that zone to the enabled config.

Everything seems cool, but the 2650s don't see the 136T, what gives? Is there something I'm over looking? I hope this all made sense...

Are you using any type of LUN Masking?

What type of HBA's are you using?

You should create 2 zones, 1 for each 2650. Host#1 and 136T, then another for Host#2 and 136T.

In addition to comtec:

Does de 136T support fabric (fc-sw)?
are the HBAs configured as fabric?
