Zones

Good Day,

The SAs are building for us an environment. They said that their best practice is to create the zones with single Initiator and Target. Thus there will be 4 zones per host to the Clariion Array.

Humm, I have no idea what these zones mean.

Any thoughts?

I think they are referring to zones within the fibre network to restrict and isolate traffic between the servers and the LUNs.
