ZoneAlarm blocking outgoing DCC in mIRC

I've recently installed a free version of ZoneAlarm after a few hacking threats from displeased individuals (probably boasts but better safe than sorry). It's working out fine for me with only few nuisances, but one of them is that I don't seem to be able to send files through mIRC anymore by DCC. mIRC has asked for server rights and I've given them, but DCC still seems to be blocked (nor does ZoneAlarm ask me if I want to allow them when I try it, they just don't go through).

Shutting ZoneAlarm down whenever I want to send a file works, but is there something less drastic I can do?

That's *less* drastic? :) Seems ZoneAlarm may not be the problem after all, though, I've gotten it to work with some people now but not with others. Guess the problem was on their side and it was a coincidence it happened at the same time I got myself ZoneAlarm.

That hacking threat never came about, either. I'm almost disappointed.
