Zlib Module?

Anybody know where I can find a precompiled zlib.so for PHP 5.0.4? I don't and will not have root access but I can dl() from my script.

I scoured Google and I'll I found was source code and invalid shared objects.

For reasons I am not willing explain, I will not be able able to run all my scripts through the new PHP binary.

Anybody know where I can find the shared object?
